Cavitron Buzzbaits ~ Natural Series

A Cavitron buzzbait is (in my opinion) just about the best on the market in terms of a classic "delta blade" buzzbait. I don't think any other vendor makes a better one for the price. Cavitrons are things of beauty, with the anodized (not painted) colored blades, and everything else about them, the design, the components are as good as it gets - and they're second to none in fish-catching potential.

The Cavitron has premium components and features:

four hole punched blade for bubbling 'fountain' effect
set-back, long shank, oversized hook
dropped-down, oxbow wire bend for more solid strikes
strong .040 diameter wire enhances vibration (most other buzzbaits use less vibrant .051 wire)

It's not any one feature that makes the Cavitron great. It's the 'total Cavitron package' and attention to every last detail that makes the Cavitron so deserving of its reputation as the best mass-produced buzzbait on the market.

As if it wasn't good enough already, now the new Natural Series colors elevate the Cavitron even further above all other buzzbaits.

The Natural Series makes lots of sense, and I'll tell you why. In the shallow, grassy, cover-choked shallows where buzzbaits work best, I have rarely seen anything all black and certainly nothing that's solid white, bright chartreuse or chartreuse white swimming in the water - yet those are the standard buzzbait colors - all black, all white, all chartreuse, half chartreuse/half white.

However, I have seen frogs, junebug-colored bluegill (in chronic dark water), sunfish and brightly-colored panfish like perch. That's what the Natural Series adds to the Cavitron.

That's why I say the new Natural Series makes sense to me, even if for no other reason than that it presents a natural color that bass have never seen in a buzzbait before.
