The Megabass Deep-X 300 was created in response to angler demand for a lure that provided greater diving depth and attention to detail, such as the realistic flared gill flaps. With its larger body size (and therefore greater water displacement), the 300 is the ultimate deep-cranking lure. The Deep-X 300 is perfect for offshore ledge fishing, sloping points and deep grass beds, and is especially effective when fish move deep after post-spawn, or when water temps are over 70 degrees.
The Deep-X 300 is equipped with the Megabass original Multi-Way Balancer System. That gets you down to a target depth of 15 to 18 feet in a hurry, while the life-like attention to detail, unique profile and killer action draw strikes as you retrieve the Deep-X 300 through the target zone.
The Deep-X 300’s Multi-Way Balancer system means the 300 will dive almost vertically in order to maximize the effective cranking distance and also responds to every little twitch or jerk you would like to send to the bait. The Deep-X 300 will let you do the conventional bottom-digging method for creating those strike-inducing irregular darting actions. But what makes the Deep-X 300 so unique is its mid-water twitch/jerk action, which appeals to suspending fish that are relating to the bottom or structure, but holding above it, suspended at mid-depths.
Equipped with Katsuage Treble Hooks. Megabass original Katsuage hooks have an out-barb, out-point and are wide gap with a 'near-center' seat for the hook to stay pinned.
