Deps Pulsecod ~ Spontaneous Spring-Action Micro-Vibration Topwater

Length: 3-1/8" (80mm)
Weight: 1/2 oz (16g)
Type: Topwater, Popper
Note: It is a little larger than most other typical bass poppers with larger hooks than usual.

The Pulsecod was developed to show highly-pressured bass something new in terms of topwater lures.

Cut-away shows the Pulsecod's unique spring-weighted micro vibration generation mechanism.

It has a huge cupped mouth that bulges out to the sides in order to create a loud, boiling disturbance like a predator just tried to smack it off the surface – and then the neat part comes into play next.

As the Pulsecod sits there recovering from the fake, near-fatal attack it staged on itself, a spring-mounted metal ball inside the body knocks against the walls, causing spontaneous popping and pecking sounds and unbalancing the bait, keeping it from sitting perfectly still.

As the spring-ball expends its energy further and vibrates toward an eventual standstill, fine waves of quivering micro-vibration emanate from inside the body, getting weaker and weaker until…BLOOEY! Even the most persnickety bass in highly-pressured waters break down and go totally bonkers to hit this trembling, near-dying imposter.

The Pulsecod has an unprecedented natural appeal and possesses a powerful simulation of life. It even surprises tough-to-catch bass that think they’ve seen it all.
