Megabass Griffon ~ Compact Crankbait ~ Rattling, Silent, Bone Knocker, Shallow, Deep Models

There are many different models of Griffons and most Griffons are very small with hooks too small for the US bass angler.

The Griffon 6CC (silent, rattling and deep-diving) and Griffon BT are really the only Griffons to use. These are slightly larger models that are equipped with stronger hooks suitable for larger fish.

Keep in mind, the Griffon 6CC, DD and BT sre still compact crankbaits but they are bigger than and have stronger, larger hooks than other Griffon models - and they weigh 3/8 oz making them valuable compact cranks for the US angler.

BT Bone Knocker (left, 2nd right). 6cc (2nd left). DD 6cc (right).

Available in rattling, silent, one-knocker shallow versions and rattling deep diving version:

► Griffon BT Bone Knocker. Length: 2"(50mm). Weight 3/8 oz. Made of a more resonant, light yet tough bone ABS plastic resin body with a single loud tungsten knocker ball inside.

► Griffon 6cc Hi Pitch* Rattling. Length: 2"(50mm). Weight 3/8 oz. The largest version of the Griffon series (yet still compact). The Griffon 6CC offers ease of casting and wide-wobbling action, but steps up the size with six cubic-centimeters of water-displacement. With a larger profile, larger hooks, and a larger, enticing wobble, the Griffon 6CC offers up the biggest Griffon-meal yet. And with low-tone steel balls, mid-tone steel rattles, and high-tone glass rattles in three distinct internal-chambers, the Griffon 6CC has a unique, multi-layered rattle that will be sure to draw big bites.

► Griffon 6cc Hi Pitch* Silent. Length: 2"(50mm). Weight 3/8 oz. The silent version has fixed weights inside as shown.

► DD Griffon 6cc Deep Diver. Length: 2"(50mm). Weight 3/8 oz. Depth 8 ft. A deep-diving version of the Griffon 6CC, the Griffon 6CC Deep Diver offers the same ease of casting and wide-wobbling action that made the original Griffon so popular. The Griffon 6CC Deep Diver’s fixed, internal stainless-steel balancer combines with the larger lip to achieve diving depths of up to 8 feet. And super noisy with low-tone steel balls, mid-tone steel rattles, and high-tone glass rattles in three separate internal sound chambers, the Griffon 6CC Deep Diver offers a multi-layered rattle.

*: Hi-Pitch refers to the heightened wiggling action of all these Griffons. As used here, Hi-Pitch does not refer to the noise made by the rattles. All Griffon versions are Hi-Pitch due to their heightened wiggling action.
